More shifting and starting issues.Rear differential started leaking. I really dont know what the starting problem is the battery and alternator test good but the more you run it the better chance it wont start.Rice Lake Farm and Fleet have been great fixing it. I think there hands are tied to.

I bought a Massimo golf cart brand new. Noticed a burning smell, like burning rubber, but thought it might be from breaking it in. With less than 30 miles on the golf cart it caught on fire. The wiring where the batteries were caught on fire while I was sitting right above it. Trying to get them to fix the golf cart has been a hassle. Even with their approved Massimo Repair shop the owner there was having trouble getting Massimo to repair the golf cart. Ive tried to call and now the number now is disconnected. Do not buy any of their products.

Bought a throttle cable for a Massimo golf cart using Massimos schematics 10/3/2023. The cable was too long and I wanted to return it. Sounds easy enough, its 2023 and thanks to technology, returns have become a streamlined part of doing business. I contacted the company via phone and received a case number and an email saying the shipping label would be mailed. Its now February 2024 and we have not received the label. I have called back multiple times and been sent to voicemail each time, where I left a message. I have not received a call back, an email or a return shipping label to this dayTerrible customer service to say the least.

I purchased a Massimo Ecooler 32qt cooler for my off road adventures. I bought it back in June of 2023. I finally put it to use on a back country trip 11-10-2023-11-13-2023. I turned on the cooler the night before and it functioned correctly. On the morning of 11-11-2023 the cooler was not working. The control panel was dead. I checked the fuse and changed power supplies and still nothing. When I returned home on the 13th I filled out a warranty claim with no response. I called and was put on hold until the call dropped several times. I emailed customer service and still nothing. I should have learned my lesson because this was my second POS Massimo ecooler. I had a 42qt Ecooler I bought in 2020 from Costco. It worked good for several trips and a couple of years. But on a road trip to Boston from California the Ecooler did the same thing. I was able to return that POS to Costco in Memphis Tn. Now Costco customer service is top notch! Massimo is a joke! Good luck if you buy one of there products! Buy it from Costco so when it fails you can return it.

Warning to other potential buyers

In August 2022 I purchased a brand new 2022 MSU 5 seater Massimo UTV for $15,999.00 plus freight needless to say I was very excited. With less than 50 miles on the machine the power steering went out but it was replaced under warranty. I just recently took it on its second trip and this time at around 100 miles I started to have problems shifting it from reverse to low to high and it would only go into gear if I would shut the machine off and shift into the gear I needed before starting and taking off. I took the machine to a local mechanic I know well and he told me the clutch is having issues and since it was still under warranty I trailered it to where I purchased it from only to have them tell me they could not replicate the problem. I am a retired US Air Force Veteran who is 56 years old and I treat everything I have with respect and certainly don't abuse things I have invested money into. I wrote to the company about a week ago but no response. There is an issue with this transmission and they know but want to take your hard earned money and sell you junk. I'm kicking myself for purchasing this junk. You have been warned. JDF

Very hard shifting afraid Im going to break shifter.Farm and fleet have been very good and the mechanics have kept me notified whats going on but there hands are tied to. I would not purchase another one.there were a total of 5 of them at F&F when I was there Friday with very little results for any of them.

Horrible company

Bought online from Massimo Motor Sports a MGC E TRIKE when delivered a mirror was missing and the batteries wouldnt hold a charge. The model was to be a 2023 but sent a 2022,so Im guessing the batteries were old.

No one thought to check and make sure it would start,considering it did even have one mile on it. No one there picks up the phone,doesnt return voice messages or text messages. Took two weeks to talk to someone to find out how to get the batteries replaced and a mirror. Fortunately the mirror was replaced.

I cant even remember how many times I tried to contact them. After one month this is still completely unresolved. I feel this completely unprofessional for a company that speak so well of themselves. So obviously they dont back up their products when damaged upon receiving it or honer the warranty one certain items.

I will never do business with then again. This has been the worst experience I have every had with any company

I'm dealing with the Exact same thing. They Never answer the phone but the few times they do - they will transfer my call and I Never get to speak with anyone.

I've also sent texts and emails - Never a reply for those either. I regret purchasing an E-Trike from them. Came without a charger (which was supposed to come with it). Have been searching online for a charger for at least 3 weeks now with no luck.

Their site shows they sell the charger but it's out of stock - No info or specs on it nor a pic to help find one elsewhere. Also it didn't come with a Manual. Apparently we have to spend at least 25 bucks to download a copy and their site shows it's out of stock also. My trike came with a Lot of External damage and a flat front tire.

Been trying to get this resolved over 3 weeks now.

I'll Never do business with Massimo again because they have Zero Customer Service. It's obvious they're out to make money and after they acquire it the customer is no longer considered in the equation.

Not even a year and only 300 miles on it. All we've done is wait for parts to fix it or even talk to someone. On March 4, 2021 we purchased brand new the Massimo T-Boss 550F Side by Side at: Orscheln Farm & Home 1525 Highway Business 60 West Dexter, MO 63841 We paid $8999.00 , total cost was $9258.61 in which we paid $9100.00 in cash and $158.61 on our debt bank card. NOTE: All items shipped to us always took 5 - 7 days to arrive. There are shops or anything remotely close to us to do any repairs so we had to do them ourselves. CASE #4726 So by the end of May, as we were riding the trails we couldn't start it when we stopped at the local station. The alternator wasnt charging the battery anymore. The battery was dead. Luckily we were able to buy a new battery where we were at so that we could get back home..... the only batteries they carry are Interstate, which cost us $170.00. Ridiculous!! After contacting Orschlens in Dexter about what happened, we finally made contact with Massimo and worked with Craig on registering our TBoss and getting a replacement alternator and rectifier. After about 2wks we received the items but after calling about still not getting any charge we were told we had to get a stator as well, so after another few weeks we received the stator and was able to fix the issue after just over a month of not being able to ride the thing. CASE # ? By late August 2021, the wench went out. So, again we had to call Massimo again to get a replacement. Now, in May or June we noticed that the windshield had all these little spots all over it. We tried everything we could to get rid of the spots because they were obstructing our view, making it difficult to drive mostly with the sun glare. CASE #5941 So, when we called about the wench I mentioned the windshield issue too. The woman stated that they had seen this defect issue here in the very recent past and sent us a replacement windshield because it wasn't anything we had caused. CASE #6739 Early December 2021 -- While working/riding out on our property, the clutch just goes out. Spoke with Craig again and we needed the following items to fix this issue: Drive assy comp v-belt clutch carrier assy clutch housing assy CVT gasket --Cover CVT gasket -- Housing Bearing A few days later, after looking at how to replace the above-mentioned parts, I saw that I'd have to remove the oil filter and seal. So we contacted Craig again and on 12/29/2021 requested: Oil filter Oil seal Due to being on BackOrder, the Oil Seal wasn"t finally shipped until January 24, 2022 -- leaving us still unable to use our TBoss now for a month and a half. And yet still, after getting the oil filter and seal, we still weren't able to do the repair because we STILL NEEDED: Gasket, left crankshaft cover Which was then shipped out on Feb 7, 2022. So we finally received that gasket on Feb 11, 2022. How many problems, breakdowns or piece of junk parts do we still need to go through with this machine?? As of today our TBoss only has 300 miles on it -- 300!! We were so excited when we bought our brand new TBoss, it's the first brand new thing of such value that we had bought for ourselves. We made the purchase mainly for the purpose of it being so highly functional for us at the new cabin and 40 acres we had just purchased. We just sold our home in SE Missouri and right away ran to buy the Tboss. We needed it to help get around our property, get around the area on the trail system and to use it to help haul firewood that we were planning on harvesting from the property. Being brand new and with an awesome metal bed on it, we couldn't wait to show it off and use it. Well, we got to use it alright, *** 300 mls worth. We used it on a 5 mile trail once, hauled just 3 loads of firewood and used it to help haul materials to the cabin we are restoring. But those usages were very far and few in between! Three hundred miles, 3 huge breakdowns, and out of commission for 4-5 mths. The time and expenses we have had to incur just because we haven't had the TBoss functional. Shipping can be said to be a problem with all this CV19 crap, fine. But the extent of what has all had to be fixed/replaced in just 7-8 mths of ownership......if it was an actual vehicle this would all come under being filed under the Missouri Lemon Law!! We didn't purchase a brand new side by side; we purchased an end of a Friday night shift machine!! 1 thing after another, after another, after another. We have tried to coop, understand, be patient and accepting but we just can't do it any longer! The stress and strain on my wife having to deal with the frustration of breakdowns, waiting for getting things in and, since December 2021, having to struggle getting firewood up to the cabin to use as she has a disability and it causes quite pain for her struggling with all of this that has transpired. We wanted to love this machine, we tried to love this machine but Massimo has failed as a company at providing a quality item at an expensive price, if you ask us! I want to return this side by side for a full refund. So much for thinking buying something New is well worth the money anymore!

Rear drive shaft(from trany to rearend) has come out of rear end twice and broke into both times. 87 miles on unit the first time and 248 the second time called Massimo head quarters and they told me

Keep breaking the rear drive shaft both times I was going over a 8 inch rise in the ground at a speed of less than 5mph Massimo told me they had no other people having this happen and I was on my own to fix it I ordered a new drive shaft and am going to take it to a machinist and have home cut it in half and weld a 3/4 inch piece in the middle I think that will keep it from sliding out of the rear as it moves upward over a rise in the road
